About 20ft Used Shipping Containers
Used 20 foot containers have been retired from international shipping after an average of 15–20 years at sea. While they can no longer be stacked for shipping, they make for an excellent storage solution on land — a much cheaper alternative to renting a storage unit or building a garage/shed.
20ft used containers will show clear evidence of their many ocean journeys. Dings, dents, and patches of surface rust are to be expected. However, all containers we sell are wind and watertight and fully structurally sound.
Since they were originally manufactured to carry small volumes of heavy cargo (e.g. machinery, cement, and steel), 20ft used containers are ideal for storing large, heavy items such as metals, seasonal vehicles, and farming and construction equipment.
